Multi-Function Energy Harvesting
Purpose: Develop a durable and wearable device with biomedical functionality and renewable energy harvesting operation.
Method: Harvest energy through the use of solar cells while monitoring particular health parameters (heart rate, active behavior, air quality, etc.).
Benefit: Produce a portable, durable, and eco-friendly device that allows for active and sustainable lifestyles where one can easily monitor their health.
Takeaway: Materials science, research and development engineering, coding, application of micro-processing chips and solar cells,and virtual design via CAD.
